Wow! honestly I don't know what to say. It's my first time winning any photo challenge, so I'm really psyched. It's an honor! My first plan was to shoot something work related. But I couldn't bring my camera inside the ports because of security issues and so I thought any family picture would be a perfect fit for the "A Day in The Life" theme. It really frustrated me shooting my son because I rarely get the shot I want. So with this photo, I initially didn't like it, it wasn't my first choice. I think I looked at this photo about 20 times before deciding that this would be the one. But then I told myself to try something different, send something I'm not really comfortable with. And here it is, the winning photo. 1/125, f/11, ISO100, sharpening & minor color tweaking in photoshop.
